I'm a portrait, conceptual and events photographer from San Jose, Costa Rica.

Since I was a kid I love to create things, something unique to me, photography gave me this possibility, it gives me a way to express myself using visual arts.

I started my journey in photography back in 2010 when i got my frist DSLR to take pictures at my music events (Im also a dj/producer and promoter), with the pass of time I really enjoyed everything releated with photography, and during 2014 I got more into portraits and conceptual photography.

I could say that i can split my photography style in 2, on one hand I love everything that is related with conceptual photography, and on the other hand I like natural shots.

Something that I really enjoy is to create imaginary characters or worlds with some surrealism feeling, unique moments that goes beyond the fact of just taking a simple picture or capture a face, I like to give my images a touch of what is in my mind with themes that i like, but also at the same time, allowing the viewers to make their own stories out of the image and blow their imagination.

With my portraits on the other hand I like to give them a natural look, something that seems real, pure and simple, I like my images to be able to express an emotion, happines, sadness, glory, nostalgia, or any other emotion that could come out of an image but in a natural way.

The fact that I like music and photography is great to me, both are great ways to express my feelings and to make some art to the people to enjoy and but most of all is something that I enjoy.

Soy un fotógrafo de retratos, conceptual y eventos de San José, Costa Rica.



Desde pequeño siempre me gusto crear cosas, algo único para mí, la fotografía me dio esa posibilidad, me da la habilidad de poder expresarme usando el arte visual a mi manera.



Empecé en el mundo de la fotografía por el año 2010 cuando adquirí mi primera DSLR para poder tomar fotos de mis eventos de música ( también soy dj/productor y promotor ), con el pasar del tiempo le fui adquiriendo un cariño especial a todo lo que tiene que ver con el mundo de la fotografía y para el año 2014 empecé a hacer más fotografía conceptual y empece con algunos retratos.



Podria dividir mi estilo fotografico en 2, por un lado me gusta la fotografia conceptual llena de ideas surrealistas, y por otro las imagenes muy naturales, cotidianas pero a la vez sin olvidar ese aire que las haga únicas.

En mi fotografía conceptual, algo que realmente me gusta y disfruto es crear mundos y personajes imaginarios con tintes surrealistas, momentos únicos que van mas allá del simple hecho de tomar una fotografía o capturar un retrato, me gusta darle a mis imagines un poco de lo que esta dentro de mi cabeza con temas que me gustan, pero al mismo tiempo, me gusta dejar ese aire de libertad para que la persona que ve mi imagen saque sus propias historias e interprete la imagen de la manera que cree coherente para su mente.



Por otro lado, con mis retratos me gusta darles un estilo muy natural, algo que se vea real, puro y a la vez simple, me gusta que mis imágenes puedan expresar una emoción ya sea alegría, tristeza, nostalgia, o cualquier otra emoción que pueda ser expresada mediante una imagen.

 Me gusta poder sacar la belleza nata de mis modelos sin necesidad de mucho retoque, imagenes crudas que expresen una realidad y no un producto fabricado.

El hecho de que también disfrute del arte de la música es maravilloso para mi, ambas son grandes maneras de poder expresarme en diferentes ámbitos artisticos y hacer que la gente vea esto y lo disfrute al igual que yo también lo hago.



Esto es lo que me apasiona, esos momentos son los que hacen brillar mi mente y me hacen crecer y adentrarme dentro de todo este mundo.
